I can now call Michael Jackson my neighbor. Well not really. However, the King of Pop has taken a lease on a Bel Air mansion, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Jackson’s manger and spokesperson Dr. Tohme Tohme says the Thriller star decided on the Bel Air property so he could be “’where all the action is”. (Yes, you read that correctly. Michael Jackson wants to be where all the action is?)

The multi-platinum singer is paying for the action, $100,000 a month to be exact.

According to the Times, the mansion was built in 2002. The home is a French chateau-style estate with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a theatre, wine cellar and tasting room and 12 fireplaces.

This mansion sounds pretty amazing but don’t expect him to stay here forever. “He might want to build his own dream house,” Tohme Tohme said.

I thought his dream home was Neverland Ranch at one point? Creepy....

At any rate, welcome to LA, Michael.
