If you're like us, you are tired of the lack of radio stations in town lately.
First WHFS became El Zol, then the Globe bailed on us. There's not much left to listen to out there! (Especially now that Guy Talk on 106.7 has flipped to sports.)
There's a new alternative out there this week. Citadel flipped True Oldies 105.9 to 105.9 The Edge. Now, the station plays a classic rock/alternative rock format with the tagline "Classic rock... that rocks!"
DCRTV reports that the first song the new format played on Wednesday at 10AM was "Living On the Edge" by Aerosmith.
The best part about the new station? It will be commercial free through Labor Day. So, if you're going to listen to check it out, now is the time!
You can check out the new station's website and even listen online.
Will you listen? Are you glad to have a new station to check out?
