The day after Chris Brown asked for a continuance in his felony domestic abuse arraignment, Oprah Winfrey took to the airwaves on the topic.

Speaking out on her Fridays Live show, the queen discussed the very public case with her fellow chatters Ali Wentworth, Mark Consuelos and Gayle King.

Oprah had a word of warning for pop star Rihanna, the alleged victim of a brutal beating.

Her haunting words included this warning:

If a man hits you once, he will hit you again."

Today, TMZ.com is reporting that Brown -- who has been charged with two felonies -- wants to cop a plea to the charges and make the whole thing go away.  No surprise there.  TMZ says Brown's hoping to dodge jail time and wants the charges reduced to misdemeanors.  We'll keep you posted.
