June Smith is a retired owner and co-founder of the award winning Roudon-Smith Winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She is now a freelance writer with dozens of food, wine and travel feature articles to her credit. Beginning with late husband Jim Smith and Bob and Annamaria Roudon as one of the “Pioneers of Wine” in California, June has worked tirelessly to promote the wines of the Santa Cruz Mountains. She has served as a judge for the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association (SCMWA) commercial wine competition. Contact her.
