Two years ago the Cultural Development Corporation (CuDC) bought a property on 14th Street NW from The Source Theatre Company with the aim of redeveloping it. CuDC did not want to city to lose this venue that could be an excellent resource for small and mid-size theater and performance groups. The Source Theater is no longer in existence, but it legacy lives on it is original home.

Today, the renovated theater is home to The In Series, Washington Improv Theater (WIT), theConstellation Theatre Company and the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative.

All day long on Sunday November 23, Source will host  "ACTIVATE!" a Community Open House. Stop in for free performances, workshops and classes. This day is for the entire family. You can learn about slam poetry, Latin dance, belly dancing, improv, lightsabers and stage combat.
