Noam Chomsky

Noam Chomsky has called the election of Barack Obama an historic achievement for the United States that can be attributed at least in part to the activism of the 1960s.

However, Chomsky also says that Obama's actions speak louder than his words.

As Chomsky puts it, Obama's staff and Cabinet choices indicate that despite the president-elect's anti-war rhetoric during the campaign, he is surrounding himself with advisors who may not support the kind of change that voters were looking for when they went to the polls in November.
