Panel to discuss economic crisis

Wondering how the world's economy collapsed so quickly?

You're not alone.

A group of Maryland-area businesses and activist groups are sponsoring a panel discussion this weekend called "Economic Crisis: How we got in and how we get out."

The forum will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, at the St. John's of Baltimore United Methodist church, 2640 St. Paul St., Baltimore.

The presenters will be Bill Fletcher, executive director of the Black Commentator and a former president of TransAfrica Forum; Kostis Papadantonakis, professor emeritus of economics at CCBC-Essex; and Kevin Zeese, executive director of the Campaign for Fresh Air and Clean Politics and a co-founder of BreakTheBailout.com.
