
Steve McNair's funeral was held today in Hattiesburg, Miss. at the Reed Green Coliseum on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. Steve McNair's funeral was one of the largest in Mississippi history, according to the AP. An estimated 4,500 fans, friends and family came to say goodbye and bay their respects to Steve McNair.
A hearse carrying Steve McNair's caskets was escorted by police officers down the highway. McNair's wife Mechelle, and his mother, Lucille were escorted into the funeral by police.
The Titans quarterback Vince Young said "Steve was like a hero to me, and heroes are not supposed to die,"
Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis said "I find myself in awe when I speak about a man like Steve McNair,"
Brett Favre, Titans coach Jeff Fisher and Chicago quarterback Jeff Cutler also attended McNair funeral today.

Tennessee remembers Steve McNair
Thousands of fans came to honor Steve McNair at his memorial services in Tennessee. Steve McNair fans lined up by the thousands inside Mount Zion Baptist Church in Nashville on Thursday, June 9th.
At the memorial service in Tennessee, Bishop Joseph W. Walker III used the biblical example, those without sin to cast the first stone.
