Looking for a fun fall outing to enjoy with your dog before the weather gets too cold? Well you might not have to look any further than your very own backyard. Now that the windy fall weather has started to cause leaves to fall, many dog owners are finding a new source of entertainment for their favorite friends. While this might not hold true for all dogs, there are some canines out there who just love the feeling of stomping through leaves.
Leaves present a whole new element of color and texture that some dogs can truly enjoy. Naturally, the bigger the pile of leaves, the more fun the dog is likely to have while running through it. Of course, those fall leaves will only be around for a limited amount of time, so take advantage while you can. Finally, while leaf-stomping is a great activity for dry days, it’s probably not something you’ll want to let your dog do in the rain. Otherwise, your best buddy might inadvertently wind up becoming one with the wet leaves, and dragging the mess indoors after playtime.
