Where is it in this day and time around Nashville that you might have the chance to use a table made out of an auger, see eclectic prints that will pleasantly stump you and put your mind in deep thoughts about life that even the genius of Jack Handy couldn’t touch, peruse first account books of images about a beautiful journey within Machu Picchu and Peru and then walk around a marvelous house and art studio that was featured in HDTV’s show “Dream Builders” all at the same pop and stop? The answer, my friend, is that you can find all of this and more right down the street in East Nashville, across the road from Art & Invention Gallery with Bill Brimm at Home.
A MTSU alum and lifelong artist, Brimm is opening his doors at 1113 Woodland St. this Friday, October 16th, from 6-8pm, Saturday, October 17th, from 5-9pm, and Sunday, October 18th, from 2-4 pm to let anyone who has ever and always wondered what the inside of that wonderful building really looks like to actually see it and all of Brimm’s latest work with their own eyes. Brimm, an avid painter, sculptor, stain glass fabricator and restorer, photographer and world traveler, has decided to open his abode to the public for free admission during the times aforementioned to share the awe of his most recent efforts.
Don’t over think why the Titans haven’t won a game yet, who stopped the rain or who blamed it on the rain for that matter. There is no riddle. Catch a glimpse of something great whenever the open door opportunity presents itself. Think about it and thank me later.
