According to the Italian news agency ANSA, a bike ride can be an antidote to stress and improve a couple’s relationship.  Four out of ten psychologists in Italy believe this theory.  in a study conducted by the Donna e Qualita’ Della Vita (woman and quality of life) Association, 43% of psychologists considered the bicycle a great means for freeing one’s mind from anxieties and stored worries while setting your entire body in motion.  Cycling forces you to concentrate and commit to what you are doing.  In addition, as opposed to driving an automobile (the back-seat-driver effect) with a partner, a couple cycling together can experience a very positive effect.
