Larry Sawyer is in contact with many poets in the city of Chicago as curator of the Myopic Books reading series in Wicker Park. His poetry was recently included in The City Visible: Chicago Poetry for the New Century (anthology, Cracked Slab Books, 2007) and A Writers’ Congress: Chicago Poets on Barack Obama’s Inauguration (anthology, DePaul Humanities Center Press, 2009).
