The M.I.L.K. (Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship) photo contest is going on now and is looking for submissions of photography founded on the themes of friends, families, lovers and laughterto be featured in the new book Fresh M.I.L.K.: Friends, Families, Lovers & Laughter due out in Fall 2009. You can submit your photos here, entries are due by December 31, 2008.

The M.I.L.K. competition began in 1999 (inspired by the 1950s landmark photographic exhibition 'The Family of Man') with the goal of finding unique and geographically diverse images on the themes of friendship, family and love. This book celebrates the 10th anniversary.

Given the season, this is a great opportunity for these kinds of photos (and also an opportunity to win the $50,000 grand prize and get published). Good luck!
