Part of embracing the ski town lifestyle involves developing an appreciation for the town's history, arts and culture. Very few ski towns do this as well as Breckenridge Colorado, a town that is about to celebrate its

150th birthday. Recently, Breckenridge's Barney Ford Museum caught the attention of the Fox Sports Travel Network, who is currently doing a travel series on cheap activities in Breckenridge. It seems that one of their hosts, a charismatic brother from Denver, attended the Barney Ford School, but knew nothing about Ford's home in Breckenridge. Today, they came by to do a brief segment on the museum, and I got to give the tour. What a wonderful experience! Oren, the host was so funny and personable that it was the easiest thing to do. Although the segment won't air till April of 2009, I'll be receiving a DVD, and it's possible my loyal readers might be able to see a sneak preview!
