Gerald is a San Diego native and a graduate of UC-Berkeley (aka Cal), where he majored in Political Science and Sociology and spent four years writing for The Daily Californian. He won the California College Media Assocation award for best sports column in 2007. When he's not watching sports, you can find him at either the beach, the Shout House or Lolita's Taco Shop.
