I write about a variety of topics, and all of my articles have a home on my site, Tricia's Dish. The motto of my site is to live and eat better for less in Cleveland (and beyond).
Whenever I visit a new place, I try to experience the restaurants, shops and attractions that are truly unique to that place. I think it's so important to support the local businesses in your town--those one-of-a-kind gems that make up the unique fiber of your amazing city. Perhaps that's why I found it so fitting I be the Exploring Cleveland Examiner!
Each week, I feature two new prize giveaways: the first, a local prize, will be from a different independent Cleveland-area restaurant or attraction, and a second prize (available to entrants nationally or worldwide)--will be an item from a cool designer, artist or business--always independent, and usually someone right here in the Cleveland area. Sometimes, I'll have the opportunity to offer an amazing prize, like the Dish...Make Me Over! summer makeover contest.
What's the catch? None. To enter the contest, all you need to do is complete a short, confidential form, and visit the site of the sponsor donating the prize to answer an easy question (ie: What would you like to try from the menu? What item looks nice from this local business?) Our sponsors generously donate these amazing prizes to tell you more about their unique contribution to Cleveland...and trust me, you'll be glad they did--I personally select the featured sponsors, typically writing an advertorial review with my own experience and photos.
How much does it cost? About a minute's time. Maybe a little more if you want to tell your friends on facebook or Twitter, but you get extra entries for that too! And your support ensures the site's library of information and prizes continues to grow.
Will I get spam? You can sign up for the facebook group, subscribe for updates or follow on Twitter, but you'll only get email or snail mail from Tricia's Dish or a sponsor if you win a prize!
What if I win? Prizes are awarded every Friday. If you win, you'll be contacted by email for your mailing address, and your prize will be sent out to you right away--no strings attached. If you'd like to be featured in the winners section of the site, send me your photograph with your prize (or at the prize location), and a link to your blog or website if you have one.
