After big hit on Twilight, Kings of Leon will
not be on Twilight: New Moon. Director
Chris Weitz wanted them with Radiohead & Muse.
Billboard Magazine reports that the forthcoming soundtrack for Twilight: New Moon will not have Twilight's last hit band Kings of Leon. Director Chris Weitz's said that Kings of Leon was a key band he was hoping to have on the album for the second Twilight Saga movie. He wanted them in conjunction with other giants including Radiohead and Muse who will play on the soundtrack.
Kings of Leon, however, has been often considers soundtracks as not something they want to do. When you're that successful, you can pick and choose regardless what fans and sales demand.
May we all realize that we have the choice to do whatever we deem is in our best interest regardless of public pressure. And may we recognize that we are one and, thus, if our actions in our own best interest are in the best interest of all beings.
