Jon & Kate put on a yard show for the media: They keep in spotlight without TLC cameras (video)

Jon put on fireworks for kids, bored Kate and the media.
Aren't you supposed to do this after dark?
If it was dark how could the paparazzi "annoy" and film them?
The TV show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" has been suspended, but that doesn't stop Jon and Kate from doing all that they could to keep their name, pictures and cash-cow kids in front of the media. July 4th was no exception. Rather than a secluded celebration in the backyard of their sprawling complex or somewhere the paparazzi could not see them, Jon and Kate chose to display themselves and the money making kids in front of the house.
So, now we have a story and video for the Internet, tabloids, magazines and TV shows. Their motto must be: Keep in front of the cameras to keep the cash flowing to the Jon and Kate money machine.
Meanwhile, the kids continue to be cute kids. The family does have that going for at least the next couple years. Then it could be Jon & Kate plus whomever they're involved with plus teenagers. Not such a pretty sight as teenagers would probably behave a lot like their parents are doing now.
In front of their house, the Gosselins “performed” for the media while pretending to be having a simple family gathering. This was no big change as they've been pretending to be the happy family in front of the TLC cameras for five plus years. By now, I think we've all got a sense of what really goes on when the cameras are gone. Kate is a controlling, emotionally charged bully and Jon is a simple wimpy guy who wants a girlfriend or two or three, a case of beer and a motorcycle. And the kids keep running around like a herd of cats. This is a typical American, reality show family.
May the performance of this family bring joy to those who enjoy this type of entertainment. And may Jon and Kate find the maturity and responsibility needed to raise eight children with love and boundaries.
