On Thursday, July 2 Officer Shawn Taylor pulled over the Cadillac Escalade owned by Sahel Kazemi and Steve McNair. A police recording of that incident taken from Taylor's cruiser shows that Kazemi was probably not intoxicated and McNair was very drunk although not driving.
Still, the superstar McNair was allowed to walk away while Kazemi was arrested. Three days later both of them were found shot dead in his condo, and that same Nashville Police Department has ruled that incident a murder-suicide. It's about as much a murder-suicide as is the DUI arrest of Kazemi is anything other than a rogue cop looking to make more DUI arrests at the expense of a 20 year-old young woman who got involved with the wrong guy.
After you check out the newscast outlining the investigation of the DUI arrest, watch the DUI video and notice that two men in shorts and T-shirts were in the Escalade that Officer Taylor left behind when he arrested Kazemi. Who was the second man? More important, who murdered Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi, and when will the Nashville police fully investigate the incident?
Like most people, I believed that the Steve McNair incident was a closed murder-suicide case. Then, I received an email from Sahel Kazemi's sister Soheyla, who was clearly upset about the entire incident. Her message contained a forwarded email from someone claiming to be a police officer, and the trail of facts paints a very different picture. It alleges that a third person murdered both McNair and Kazemi and, thus far, remains free.
The following is an excerpt from that lengthy email:
Dear Soheyla,
There are several things that I would like to bring to light about your sister's case and also ask a few questions to dispute what police are saying.McNair was shot 4 times. T he police are saying the first shot was to the right temple, then twice in the chest finally in the left temple before shooting herself. For someone that has never fired a gun before or has any history of violence like your sister, it would be unlikely that after seeing the effects of the first shot, that she could have fired three more times.
Blood splatter according to reports were on the wall on McNair's left side but not his right. Why was there not any blood splatter over his right side from the gunshot to the right side of his head?
It has been concluded that McNair was asleep at the time of the first shot but he was in an upright seated position. Although it is possible, it is extremely rare that someone sleeps in an upright seated position. More importantly, research by law enforcement and independent individuals has shown that the mass majority of murder-suicides are carried out by males not females.
One thing that disturbs me is the fact that there were two shots on each side of McNair's head and two to the chest. That would mean that the shooter did a lot of moving around in order to place the shots where they landed. That is usually not the case in shootings.
Also usually a gunshot to the head is a sign of execution not a sadden girlfriend. Plus the fact that McNair was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest is more a result of anger, revenge, payback or something like that.
This seems very plausible to me. At least, it appears to be an unsolved case worthy of further investigation and probably scrutiny by an organization other than the Nashville Police Department.
May we find the truth and integrity in this crime and in every aspect of our lives.
