The latest buzz on Carrie Prejean is that she has been offered up to $1 million dollars, by Vivid Entertainment to become a porn star, reports TMZ. The celebrity magazine offers a copy of the adult film company’s offer, which looks about as authentic as Prejean’s breasts external beauty.
[Update: Topless photos of Prejean are now in circulation. TMZ reports "The photo, which Carrie once claimed didn't exist, has been published on TheDirty.com -- the same site which published photo number one." ]
Even if the Vivid porn role offer is legitimate, the controversial Miss California would not be expected to enter the X-rated adult entertainment industry – R-rated perhaps.
Still, with Prejean's entrepreneurial and physical cache – morality aside – $1 million dollars is chump change. Besides, given that Prejean is/was dating Micheal Phelps could land her a profitable book deal -- think True Confessions.
Excerpt from the Vivid Letter:
"We are aware of the controversy caused by your statement about same sex marriages as well as your concern about the topless photos of you that have appeared online."
Rather, the "porn star offer" seems to be a publicity stunt – more like sniper fire – and pure retribution for her pageant and public sins. Prejean's anti-gay marriage stance and “semi-nude” photo shoot, that allegedly cost the Miss USA title, begat plentiful and vocal enemies against the beauty queen.
Further fueling the maelstrom is that Prejean confesses to be a Christian. This only served as ammunition for her enemies -- be they right or wrong in their judgements. Consequently, it doesn't require much leap of faith to envision the porn role offer as a bit disingenuous.

In "Naked in the Naked Public Square," a worthy read and Op/Ed about Carrie Prejean, you can find the following sentiment:
“First, note what the movement of tolerance does when you simply exercise your rights to free speech, taking a position they disagree with. They go personal. They go for the jugular. They try to embarrass and humiliate you. They will stop at nothing not only to discredit but absolutely destroy you. Until Prejean, the best example we had was probably Gov. Sarah Palin.”
Whether or not the Vivid porn role offer is legitimate, a PR stunt or paybacks remains to be seen. Likely, a bit of all three elements are at play here. Otherwise, it takes little business acumen to see how Carrie Prejean would earn an adult-film company millions.
Addendum: As for the "Prejean nude photos," it's 15 minutes of buzz that may even accelerate Miss California’s career. Remember Vanessa Williams?
