Forget free tax software, the real Internet buzz this year is Tax Day Tea Party – or anti-tax parties, that is. Sporadically reported last month in the media, individuals and families from across the country (from Seattle to San Diego, Orlando to New York) are voicing their opposition to federal spending, bailouts and other pork barrel spending sprees. With April 15 neigh, the Tax Day Tea Party sentiments are escalating with anti-tax protests confirmed in over 500 cities thus far.

According to a Pajamas TV press release on Tax Day Tea Parties:

“Crowds of 5,000 to 10,000 are expected in multiple cities, including Atlanta, where Sean Hannity of Fox News will be broadcasting live, Sacramento, where Neil Cavuto will host his show, San Antonio, where Glenn Beck will broadcast, and New York City, where Newt Gingrich will be a featured speaker.” (Learn more)

Here are some additional Tea Party resources to keep informed with, incuding the latest updates on local anti-tax day tea parties, local protests, national media coverage and tea party videos.
