Forget economic woes, the G-20 or even what version of the iPod President Obama gave Queen Elizabeth II, it is a Michelle Obama media maelstrom on the Internet – what media outlet hasn't created a Michelle Obama fashion sideshow or touched on the propriety of whether or not the First Lady should have touched Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace?
With no signs of waning, interest in Michelle Obama's dress, quirks, style and (European) demeanor is not limited to world leaders and celebrity/political/fashion pundits. Even clothing-challenged housewives --who couldn't identify a Jason Wu from a J. Crew-- are mesmerized by what the FOTUS is wearing, doing or saying abroad.
Incidentally, a new Gallup poll shows that Michelle Obama's favorability rating exceeds that of her husband, according to Politico, though it's uncertain just how much the controversial wardrobe choices factors in.
