Michael Tresca is a game designer, author, communicator, and artist. He is the original creator of Welstar, one of the six worlds in RetroMUD and the setting for his role-playing games and fiction. Michael has authored numerous supplements and adventures for publishers of D20 Fantasy, including AEG, MonkeyGod Enterprises, Goodman Games, Otherworld Creations, and Privateer Press. He has written supplements for publishers of D20 Modern, including RPGObjects and Ronin Arts. His articles and reviews have appeared in Allgame.com, D20 Filtered, Dragon, Gamers.com, Pyramid, RPG.net, and Wizards of the Coast. He has participated in electronic and tabletop role-playing game panels at gaming conventions. Michael can be found as his alter ego, Talien, on RetroMUD as an administrator. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, who is an editor, and his toddler and cat, who are both fluent in English. Email Website
