Playstation 3 fans looking forward to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on the Playstation Network will have another option to purchase the downloadable game aside from the Playstation Store.

GameStop is offering the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Retail Pack for those who will purchase the game at their stores. For $19.99, you will get the following in the retail package:

- DVD case containing a DVD for artwork, screenshots and trailers in addition to a 8-page color manual
- Voucher code to download the game on the Playstation Store from the Playstation 3
- Free one month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics values at $9.99
- 2000 Capcom-Unity points used for community auctions and prizes

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will also be available on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace for $14.99 and the equivalent 1200 Microsoft Points. So the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Retail Pack seems like a nice bargain for those who want something tangible with the purchase.

The Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Retail Pack, which is only listed for the Playstation 3 currently, will be released on August 13th. Presumably, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be released at around the same time on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace.
