Pink Lemonade Vodka Punch make summertime entertaining quick
and easy - open a few bottles, mix, and serve!

There's nothing like summer in Kansas City, is there? Backyard bar-b-ques and friendly get-togethers, combined with temperatures in the 90s and 80% humidity. Since we insist on staying outside despite all common sense to the contrary, then it's important to be prepared.

And that means light, cool cocktails that can be made by the pitcher. No one wants to be stuck tending bar in this weather!

Pink Lemonade Vodka Punch is definitely a drink to fill the bill. After all, few things are more summer-y than lemonade or ice cold beer, but the addition of the chilled vodka will give this a little more of a zing than just a basic shandy. Be sure to use the palest beer you can find. The dark beer would taste fine, but it just doesn't look so appealing.

Pink Lemonade Vodka Punch

  • 1 12-oz. can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 3 12-oz. chilled bottles of beer (use pale ale or lager)
  • 3/4 c. vodka, chilled

Stir all ingredients together in a pitcher or punchbowl with ice. Garnish with fresh cranberries and citrus slices if desired.
