Last week, Duccini’s Pizza in Adams Morgan started dishing out vegan cheese pizza, offering the first vegan jumbo slice in town—and this week, there’s more good news. Fast-food giant Chipotle launched a new vegan meat alternative being tested in its Dupont Circle location.
As posted by Chipotle on Monday (via Facebook):
"Today at the Dupont Circle restaurant in Washington, D.C., we will start serving Garden Blend. Garden Blend is a vegan blend of plant proteins, grains and vegetables marinated in our chipotle adobo, then grilled.”

Garden Blend’s hearty texture makes for a protein-packed burrito, bowl, salad or taco that will please the palate of vegans and meat-eaters alike. And it’s currently only available in Dupont Circle:
