Chloe, seen in this photo, is like many 7-year-old second grade girls. She has two cats, and a dog named Brutus. She loves to swim and act, enjoys card games, stickers, animals, the color pink and princesses. What makes Chloe special is that she has an inoperable brain tumor.
Chloe's family was given the devastating news on October 15. She started radiation and chemotherapy treatments today at UCSF. They've set up a Facebook page and a website called pray4chloe.com to share information.
Claycord.com, a local news blog alerted readers of the family's request, to "pray without ceasing." The family's website has printable prayer cards. If prayer isn't for you but you still want to help, you can send Chloe a get well card. And most of all, tell others. (Use the share this button below this article to post the link on facebook, twitter, myspace or other social networking sites. There is also a new twitter button at the top of this article.)
The website includes Cards For Chloe flyers, a guestbook, a page of updates, and Chloe's Little Pet Shop, where pet owners share photos. Seems word has gotten out among the pet population too. A Concord dog named Titusina heard about Chloe's illness, and insisted her owner send the following card.
