In my last article, I discussed Berea College, a no frills college with no tuition fees.Berea is not the only college that is free of charge.  Here is a list of other free colleges to investigate.

Bereau College has a mandatory work-study program

Cooper Union Architecture
and fine arts degrees

College of the Ozarks
provide grants and scholarships for most of the students that attend.

Alice Lloyd College provides guaranteed tuition for all students. 

City University of New Yorks's Teacher Academy s
eeks students talented in math and science for free tution and internships.

Curtis Institute of Music is for gifted musicians.  Students must audition.

Deep Springs College (small men's college)Free tuition is granted in exchange for manuallabor.  This is a two year college, most students tranfer to prestigious four year institutions.

Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering
enrolls 85 students each year with a strong calcuclus and physics foundation.  

Webb Institute is a Naval engineering college on long Island Sound with Free tuition. 

Military Academies: U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy offer free tuition for students going into military careers.
