As a “thank you” to diners for supporting their restaurants in these challenging times, Patina Restaurant Group is offering special winter wine pricing to complement each meal, namely 25% off all bottles (running through March 31 on the East Coast).  This includes all reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines.

“The winter, post-holiday, is traditionally a time when diners don’t like to spend as much dining out, and this will likely be especially true in the current economic climate,” said Nick Valenti, CEO of Patina Restaurant Group. “Wine is an integral complement to the dining experience, and we want to provide our guests with an offer that is in sync with the times.”

At New York’s The Sea Grill, a large selection of American wines from small producers of coastal regions like Napa Valley and Long Island perfectly complement the restaurant’s seafood preparations.  Guests at Rock Center Café can indulge in a bold Barolo or spicy Shiraz with the restaurant’s hearty winter dishes.  At Brasserie 8½, Chef Julian Alonzo’s haute French cuisine pairs beautifully with the restaurant’s collection of elegant Bordeaux and Burgundies.

Also participating in the “Wines for the Wise” program is Naples 45, where an extensive list of Italian wines can be served alongside Neapolitan specialties.  The other participating East Coast restaurants include Brasserie, Café Centro, Cucina & Co. at MetLife, Macy’s Cellar Bar & Grill, Nick & Stef’s Steakhouse and Panevino Ristorante (Livingston, NJ).
