The recap:
Alison Sweeney's much bigger, but that's a baby!
When they introduced Heba and Ed, their transformations were jaw dropping. Heba looks 10 years younger and Ed (punching through his man-boobs!) looks half his size.
America voted Ed into the finale with Vicky and Michelle, but we already knew that, didn't we? Then they brought out the other eliminated players. Stacy looked amazing. Tom and L.T. were still a bit beefy but they had a lot of weight to lose. But most importantly, Tom is off all his "fat-guy" meds.
Shellay and Amy looked like sisters, didn't they? Jerry made tremendous progress in his health. Dr. Huizenga told him that he basically gained 24 years back on his life by losing 115 pounds.
Phil and Amy were svelte and stunning -- oh heck, they all were. But when it came down to who lost the most of the eliminated players, Heba beat Red Team Amy, and won the $100,000 prize.
Now we were down to the final three -- Vicky, Ed and Michelle. We got to see how they lived at home in the weeks before the finale. Vicky complained about only losing 2 pounds in 7 weeks, but these video segments can be edited very craftily. All our favorites showed up in the videos -- Ziploc, Brita and Subway! Ed was freakin' walking on kettlebells as part of his fitness routine. That is hard-core my friends.

Vicky made her entrance and nearly broke her neck on the slippery floor (she's also healing a broken foot). Michelle looked stunning, but I wasn't loving the chicken feather necklace.
The preview of next season (which starts Jan. 6) looks harrowing. These contestants will be the biggest ever. I love the idea of the Pound for Pound Challenge. (Check it out at biggestloser.com).
Then it was time for the weigh-in. Ed started at 335 and finished at 196. Vicky lost 101 pounds but didn't beat Ed. And then Michelle got on the scale (perfect order, huh?) and became the newest Biggest Loser. She went from 242 pounds to 132 becoming the second female winner.
Yay! Good wins out over ... icky!
I'll try and post something new on the Biggest Loser every Wednesday until the new season starts on Jan. 6. Until then, get caught up on all the Biggest Loser posts HERE.
