Since the onset of what has become to known as the Civil Rights movement in Iran, Iranians around the world have been actively involved in attracting attention to violent human rights violations by the Iranian police. They have done so through signing petitions, and staging rallies, candlelight vigils, and hunger strikes. During such endeavors Iranian artists like their compatriots have played a very significant role.

For the last two weeks there have been an outpour of sympathy, songs and music videos by Iranian and non-Iranian artists who have joined hands to express their message of solidarity and hope through their art. Two of the most recent clips released during the last week are those of Jon Bon Jovi's and Mams Taylor's.

With appreciation, respect and in solidarity, here they are:
