A fiction writer, poet, and a translator, Shirindokht “Shirin” Nourmanesh was born and raised in Tehran. She is an active constituent of the Iranian-American community of the Bay Area, and is a member of the Association of Iranian-American Writers. Shirin lives in Los Gatos and writes both in English and Persian. E-mail her at: shirindokht@sbcglobal.net.
