The Bakers Nook LLC is a wonderful bakery, a source of inspiration, and a delight to explore. If you need a unique, custom cake for a special occasion, this is the shop to call. But call well ahead of your event, because they are very busy, and their schedule fills up quickly. You will need drive to pick up your cake, but they are easy to find in a commercial mall at 901 West Michigan Ave, Saline, MI 48176, and there is lots of free parking. Their phone number is 734-429-1320.

While you are there, take the time to go up and down the aisles and be amazed at the array of baking supplies waiting for you. Bakers Nook is the place to stock up on books, tools, pans, and fixings when you decide to make your own treats. They have everything you need to create elegant, themed, or holiday cakes, cupcakes, coffee cakes, candies, cookies, fondant, or any sweet baked treasure of your choice.

The store is open Tuesday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Thursday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. They are closed Sunday and Mondays.

The pumpkin cupcake pan pictured above is by Wilton and sells for $30.99. Use this cake pan to make 3.4" x 3.4" pumpkin cupcakes. Pour and bake in the special pan, and then assemble the top and bottom with icing in-between. Decorate the outside as simply or elaborately as you choose.
