New York Times writes first article ever supporting UFO movement

UFOs: How much does the government know? (AP Photo)
The New York Times has written its first article ever in support of the UFO movement without accompanying ridicule. Titled "A climate solution that's out of this world," you can find the engaging article at this link.
In all fairness, a half century ago this highly esteemed newspaper did publish what may be one of the most revealing news articles ever on UFOs. Buried on page L30 in the Sunday edition of the New York Times on February 28, 1960 was an article titled "Air Force Order on Saucers Cited."
In this astonishing article, Roscoe Hillenkoeter, a former chief of the CIA states, "It is time for the truth to be brought out in open Congressional hearings. Behind the scenes, high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense. To hide the facts, the Air Force has silenced its personnel."

Why was this eye-opening article buried on page 30 of one of the paper's sections when one of the most powerful men in the country was calling for the truth to be brought out about UFOs?
The more recent Times article, published this May 14th, wasn't nearly as revealing, yet was significant in that the topic of UFOs was presented without a hint of ridicule. Here's a quote from that article:
One of the newest energy lobbyists claims he has the answer to climate change: spaceships. The government has in its possession "extraterrestrial vehicles," lobbyist Stephen Bassett said. As in flying saucers. He is working for free as a lobbyist, representing the Hawaii-based Exopolitics Institute, an educational organization which describes itself as "dedicated to studying the key actors, institutions and political processes associated with extraterrestrial life." Bassett said he is less lobbyist and more political activist.

Bassett believes our energy problems can be solved with new energy technologies based on propulsion principles developed from UFO craft being sequestered in top secret government projects.
