Anddddddd, we're still waiting.

The LA Galaxy and AC Milan still haven't finalized a David Beckham deal yet, although this Soccernet article says something should happen today, one way or the other.

At this point, the MLS just needs to let this happen and move on. No one is surprised that Beckham wants to stay in Italy, and he's already given the league plenty of publicity and revenue from his short stay. And sooner or later he WILL be unfit for top-notch European football and could want to come back. Letting this go through smoothly could help him rejoin the MLS in the future. Meanwhile, the league has plenty positives to focus on right now -- starting with the interest in Seattle Sounders FC and some added talent to the league. Hopefully this little fiasco will end today, and both Beckham and the MLS can turn their attention to more important things.
