Holiday gifts for potential snow-sliders

November 30, 12:53 PM

Most skiers and snowboarders know at least one person who refuses to get involved with winter sports. The person can be a friend, a lover, a parent,  or all of the above.

Open Your Heart with Winter Fitness: Mastering Life Through Love of the Slopes  describes the physical, spiritual and psychological benefits of learning a snowsport as an adult. The second part of the book features a detailed fitness plan, which is designed to enhance balance and improve the agility and coordination required for skiing and snowboarding. Written with humor and empathy, even experts such as Kristen Ulmer, Deb Armstrong and Lito Tejades Flores have enjoyed this book. You can order it here.
