The Box

The trailer for Richard Kelly's (Donnie Darko, Southland Tales) latest film, The Box, has been released. The Box stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden as Norma and Arthur Lewis, a young Virginia couple who are presented with a small wooden box. If they push the button inside the box they will be given one million dollars. The catch? Someone they don't know will die.

The film is based on the short story "Button, Button" by Richard Matheson and was also adapted into a Twilight Zone episode in 1986. The Box, starring Cameron Diaz, Frank Langella, and James Marsden, hits theaters October 30th. Check out the trailer at Cinematical.com.

For more info: Also check out the Ain't It Cool News interview with Richard Kelly about The Box. Kelly discusses topics ranging from the technical aspects of the film (it was shot digitally with a Genesis camera) to the influence his own childhood had on the look and tone to the film.
