Upstaging world-class actors and actresses sounds impossible. But, when factoring in grand hotels as their inimitable co-stars, the challenge doesn't seem so dire.
With that in mind, consider the following members of Leading Hotels of the World, a few of the best places to stay anywhere in the entire, well, world.
Paris's chic Hotel Plaza Athénée was dressed better than the best, even through the eyes of discerning fashionistas Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in the magazine movie, The Devil Wears Prada. In fact, the film and the hotel were runway, er runaway hits.
Cape Town, South Africa's Cape Grace hotel earned a standing ovation when Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Connelly visited in the film Blood Diamond. Talk about luxury on the waterfront.
New Orlean's La Pavillion Hotel won the fight in the film Ray, acting alongside the award-winning, very challenging Jamie Fox.
