Dallas to be new home for President and Mrs. Bush

December 5, 8:07 AM

Likely new home of President and Laura Bush in Dallas
While not revealing (for obvious security concerns) the exact address of the new home for President and Mrs. Bush, the White House announced that the couple has purchased a home in the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas.

FOXNews.com speculates that the house pictured at right will be the Bush family home. The four-bedroom home, appraised at about $2 million, was purchased by the President's accountant as a trust. An adjoining property is under contract to an unknown buyer, according to Fox, so the speculation is that the Bushes may be buying this for the Secret Service agents who will accompany the couple to Texas.

Mrs. Bush recently said in an interview that they would likely live in Dallas and spend their weekends at their ranch in Crawford, Texas.

The newly renovated home sits on 1.13 acres and offers something special the White House never could: a refuge from the pressures of politics.
