You’ve decided to spend your family vacation in Costa Rica and are looking for things to do while there?  Don’t worry – there are more than enough activities to keep your days filled with adventure!

Manuel Antonio National Park – This park is considered by many to be the most beautiful of Costa Rica’s national parks, and receives more visitors than any other.  The park contains a variety of hiking trails affording the visitor the opportunity to explore the tropical rain forest and see a variety of wildlife including monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and a variety of birds.  You will also find some of the most stunning white sand beaches in the world here!

ATV Tour – Explore the rainforest on some of the best ATV terrain in the world.  You’ll find spectacular views of the ocean, mountains, valleys, and waterfalls as you make your way through the lush tropical vegetation.

White Water Rafting – Costa Rica offers some of the best white water rafting in the world!  There are many of rivers to choose from – from novice to expert – which will please nature lovers and thrill seekers alike.  These wild and untamed rivers plunge through spectacularly beautiful and largely unexplored tropical wilderness.

Sport Fishing – If sport fishing is your thing, you won’t be disappointed!  Wahoo, tuna, mahi-mahi, sailfish, and marlin are all found in the waters surrounding Costa Rica.  You’ll find world-class services and boats at your disposal.

Canopy Tour – Zip from platform to platform in the tropical forest on a zipline!  This tour will provide you with the thrill of your lifetime as you traverse the jungle on a system of cables and platforms.

Crocodile Adventure – The largest crocodiles in the world call the Tarcoles River home – some of them measure up to 17 feet long!  Watch the crocodiles be hand-fed by your tour guide!

Active & Dormant Volcanoes - Part of the Pacific Ring Fire Circle, Costa Rica has over 200 identifiable volcanic formations dating back over 65 million years. Today, however, only 100 or so show any signs of volcanic activity, while just five are classified as active volcanoes. Considered to be among Costa Rica’s top tourist attractions as they captivate the attention of both tourists and scientists from all over the world, these volcanoes are a key part of this country’s spectacular natural diversity.

Monteverde Cloud Forest -In Monteverde are found more than 100 species of mammals including 5 species of cats, over 400 species of birds including 30 kinds of hummingbirds, tens of thousands of insect species (over 5000 species of moths) and 2,500 species of plants (420 kinds of orchids). The area is acclaimed as one of the most outstanding wildlife refuges in the New World Tropics.
