Katherine tries to pit young M.J. against Susan/ABC

It's been two weeks since we last visited the Desperate Housewives of Wisteria Lane and with only one episode left until this year's big plane crash there's lots going on in tonight's episode.

Katherine (Dana Delany) continues her delusional descent where Mike (James Denton) is concerned.  When Susan (Teri Hatcher) and Mike's son M.J. (Mason Vale Cotton) goes to a neighborhood birthday party, Katherine decides to pick up young M.J. from the party and bring him home, seeing this an an opportunity to receive a visit from Mike.  As if that weren't bad enough, she also takes the time with M.J. to tell him his mom, Susan is a bad person.  When Mike gets wind of this, he confronts Katherine once and for all and even goes so far as to threaten her by saying, "You've never really seen me get angry, but if you want to, just talk to my son one more time, then you'll know what I'm capable of."

When last week's episode ended, Emily (Julie McNiven), a waitress at the Coffee Cup was attacked and left for dead just moments after Nick (Jeffrey Nordling) was flirting with the waitress.  In the wake of the attack, Nick decides it may be time for his family to relocate from Wisteria Lane to keep his family's secret past securely buried.  When he shares this with Angie (Drea de Matteo), she balks at the thought of uprooting their son again, and as she and Nick argue the point, reveals that she is the one running, after having killed a man.

Another result of the second attack brings the housewives together for a lesson in self defense. This of course turns into a great Desperate comedic moment when two of the housewives take their aggression out on each other.

Julie (Andrea Bowen) gets an interesting invitation to Emily's funeral...from Danny (Beau Mirchoff).  Danny tells Julie he figured out that she had an affair with his dad, but that he doesn't care and that he still has feelings for her. After she rejects him once again, he does something very drastic.

Last week, Gaby (Eva Lorgoria Parker) discovered that Lynette (Felicity Huffman) is pregnant, she of course immediately told Carlos, thus causing a rift between the two ladies.  Tonight, Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) fully intends on carrying out his plan to make Lynette quit or be transfered to Florida, after Lynette convinced a co-worker to refuse the job in hopes he would be her replacement when she goes on maternity leave.  Carlos goes so far as to hold a going away party for Lynette , proving he is more than willing to take a stand. When she refuses to quit, and knowing he can't fire her for being pregnant, Carlos boots Lynette out of her lush corner office and moves her into a storage closet.

Bree (Marcia Cross) confides in Karl (Richard Burgi) by telling him she cares too much for Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) to hurt him by their affair. Karl tells Bree that makes him love her more. Problem is, Susan overhears their conversation, confirming what she has suspected: her best friend Bree is having an affair with her ex-husband Karl.

With next week's pending plane crash, and talk of more than one fatality resulting, don't look for Katherine to be a victim of the crash. In an unexpected twist tonight, she will call 911 just as she takes a knife to herself, thus placing her in a hospital and safely away from Wisteria Lane during next week's big cliffhanger.  Even though her wound is self-inflicted, she could use the opportunity to blackmail Mike, who also picked up the knife just moments before she used it on herself.
