Katherine and Marge are involved in a car accident and Ashley finds Victor
Adam panics when Heather lets him know the FBI wants to question him about that journal. He runs to Jack who believes that everything will be fine as long as Adam keeps his cool. Jack points out that the journal was authenticated and well....even if the FBI can prove it was forged, Adam would have had no way of knowing this. Jack Abbot has just become this street hustler shady sort of character, don't you think? I used to love the guy but these days it is difficult to even guess what he's thinking. Adam needs a dope slap or something. Doesn't he get it that Jack could care less about what happens to him??
Ashley heads off to Notre Dame in Paris based on her hunch that Victor might be there. She stands in front of the church and prays to St. Raymond to bring Victor back to his family---and back to her! This should really send Nikki over the top, don't you think? She has been obsessed with Victor and did the admirable thing by sending Ashley off to try to reach Victor but in the end I think Nikki will be looking for credit for that and if Ashley really wants Victor to come back to her, Nikki will be sharpening the claws before she gives up.
Sharon and Nick are both in Paris at the same time while Noah is on a school trip to the same city hanging out with some party girl named Eden. Sharon and Nick agree to hook up for coffee and Sharon suggests they take Noah sightseeing while they are there. Noah tells Eden his mother could take them to the cemetery where Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison are buried and she finds this laughable.
Katherine hooks up with Marge at Jimmy's bar. Marge is totally trashed and passes out before Katherine can find out what Marge did with her cell phone--which of course is still in the bar. Katherine suddenly realizes the bag of cash she withdrew to pay for Marge's rehab visit is also missing. Marge comes out of her drunken stupor and tells Katherine some guy Kevin had been calling her cell phone about money left behind. Katherine is relieved. Katherine gives Marge the scarf she is wearing for good luck. She then manages to call Nikki who had just talked Jill out of calling the cops to find Katherine that she is helping a friend and will be fine.
Jeffrey tells Gloria he just saw a smashed Katherine at Jimmy's bar and he wants her to go get the stocks out of her while she is half-baked. In the meantime, Nikki calls Jill to report that Katherine is fine but Jill doesn't buy it because Jeffrey just told her that Katherine had been drinking. In the meantime, Katherine reaches Kevin and thanks him for holding onto her money. He asks Daniel and Amber to keep an eye on the coffee house while he stops by Katherine's house. He's concealing something under his coat which rouses Amber's curiosity. Kevin gets to Katherine's in a pounding rain storm and nobody answers the door. He has to keep the money and leave. Elsewhere, as Katherine and Marge are driving to the house, their car swerves off the road.
Phyllis shows up in Paris to surprise Nick and the spoilers indicate she will catch a glimpse of her husband guy kissing his ex Sharon. Rumors are also circulating that Katherine will die in that accident. All signs indicate that either Katherine or Marge will die and since Marge is wearing Katherine's scarf at the time of the motor vehicle crash.....who needs DNA, right?
