If you're a regular reader of our travel site, you know that we like to pass laong the latest news from various tourism offices around the world.  We just received the July newsletter from the German National Tourist Office.  Read on for the entire newletter.
Press Release: Germany Offers Great Value for Money.

As one of the most affordable destinations in Europe, Germany offers
outstanding value for the dollar. Luxury hotels in Germany’s buzzing
cities are often half the price of those in other European
metropolises. Sleek spas, Michelin-starred restaurants, local hot
spots, and even overnights in castle hotels can be booked for less than
$100. Germany’s variety offers something for every taste, every segment
and every budget.

Deals on transatlantic flights to Germany in economy or business class,
luxurious weekends in five star hotels, package tours to the decennial
Oberammergau Passion Play, cruises along Germany’s famous rivers including airfare, family friendly accommodations, meals, tours and much more are all available in the "Special Offers" section on www.cometogermany.com. The newest deals are always posted under "Hot Deals."

Deals are organized according to categories including packages, tours, cruises, accommodations and transportation. For example, under "Package Tours" and "River Cruises," you will find deals that take care of everything from airfare, accommodations, meals and special guided tours. These deals are offered by experienced US-based tour operators and prices are calculated and fixed in dollars, so no need to worry about the exchange rate, just book and enjoy.

A 12-day tour with Globus Journeys takes participants from Frankfurt to the harbor city of Hamburg, the buzzing capital Berlin, scenic Bavaria including Castle Neuschwanstein and then along the majestic River Rhine to Cologne. Rates for this all inclusive trip with first class accommodations, also including airfare start under $2900 per person. - www.globusjourneys.com.   For a shorter trip without airfare, Nordique Tours offers a five-day self drive tour of the Romantic Road for $599 per person. Hotel accommodations, breakfast and tours in the great historic cities of Rothenburg, the walled medieval city of Dinkelsbuehl
and the former trade center of Augsburg are all included. - www.picassotours.com.

If you are only looking for an affordable way to get to Germany without swimming or rowing, the German airlines Lufthansa and Air Berlin frequently have special offers that get you across the Atlantic for sometimes less than $400 including all fees and taxes. Those deals are posted in the "Transportation" section. Here you also find offers by Rail Europe for cheap train transportation once you get to Germany or car rental companies offering free upgrades, navigation systems and
even cell phones. With Rail Europe you can find rail passes for less than $60 a day to  go wherever you want in Germany, even on high speed trains. Choose between several offers; from point to point train rides to 10-days within a month passes. - www.cometogermany.com.

Under "Accommodations" you can find special deals posted by our local partners in Germany. You can book directly in Germany, which is very convenient with your credit card. So if you are looking for that special few-day-getaway in a great hotel with meals and a spa treatment or a round of golf near one of Germany’s fascinating cities, you will
find high-end comfort for a low budget price.  For example stay three nights in the 4-star Intercity Hotel in Essen
incl. breakfast for only $170 per person and discover the heart of the Ruhr region that will be European Capital of Culture 2010. -
www.cometogermany.com.

In the "Events & Festivals" section you also find great deals for specific events, such as the upcoming decennial Passion Play 2010 in Oberammergau. All offers are updated frequently, so take a look and find an amazing deal for your taste. - www.cometogermany.com
