
Gears of War 2 (Xbox 360) – The Locust are back and the humans must battle once again. The long-awaited shooter is finally here this week and if it’s as good as the original game, then it’s another mist have game for the Xbox 360.
Resistance 2 (PS3) – The Resistance franchise is PS3’s answer to the Gears of War franchise. And so far they’re doing a pretty good job of it. And this one is definitely looking to be better than the first game. PS3 owners rejoice!
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) – This tactical RPG was a hit in Japan earlier this year and Sega hopes the same will happen in the states. The game takes place in a fictional Europe during the 1930’s in the midst of a war for ragnite ore, an element that can be used as a powerful fuel. And yes, it’s a PS3 exclusive.
Tom Clancy's EndWar (Xbox 360, PS3, PSP) – The Tom Clancy video game brand looks like it will continue to impress with EndWar, a real time strategy game that delves into World War III. You command the entire army from infantry and tanks to helicopters and fighter jets in battles against Russian and a European alliance.
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (PS3) – Seems like the Naruto games will never stop. This one is exclusive to the PS3 and is another fighting game based on the animated series. The game has a whopping 25 playable characters plus 10 support characters.
James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii) – The exciting thing about this Bond game is that it was made using the Call of Duty 4 game engine and is a combination between a first person shooter and third person shooter. Plus Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Judi Dench, Mads Mikkelsen, Olga Kurylenko and Mathieu Amalric all contribute their likeness and voices to the game.
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 (PS2, Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Wii) – Yes, it’s the 10th WWE Smackdown game with a revamped tag team match, a new Inferno match and three new modes: Create-A-Finisher, Road to WrestleMania and Career.
Legendary (Xbox 360, PS3) – This was supposed to come out a few weeks ago, but it didn’t. It’s a first person shooter where you play thief hired to steal Pandora’s Box from a present day New York Museum. But once you open the box out of curiosity, chaos ensues and you have to find a way to stop it.
NPPL Championship Paintball 2009 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2) – For the people who can’t play the real thing, the video game will feature actual tournament locations and layouts from the National Professional Paintball League. Work your way up from a rookie to a pro paintballer.
Namco Museum Virtual Arcade (Xbox 360) – This one os for the old school heads once again. Play classic arcade games like Dig Dug II, Pole Position, Pac-Mania, Rolling Thunder plus new arrangement games DIG DUG Arrangement, Galaga Arrangement and PAC-MAN Arrangement. Yes they’re available on Xbox Live, but have them all on a handy disc.
Disney's High School Musical 3: Senior Year DANCE Bundle with Mat (Xbox 360, PS2, Wii) – The film is a hit in the theatres and Disney hopes it’ll be a hit at the crib too. The game is setup like Dance, Dance Revolution but with songs from all three High School Musical movies and you get to play as the stars from the film.
Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa (PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii) – Based upon the upcoming movie, you can relive all the action from the film; if you’re down for that.
Monster Lab (Wii, PS2, DS) – You play as a scientist who learns who gets to create monsters and then take them out on different quests and challenges. Plus you get to fight other monsters.
Secret Service: Ultimate Sacrifice (Xbox 360, PS2) – It’s a first person shooter where you play as a Secret Service agent ordered to protect the president. Of course, drama begins from day one starting with a terrorist attack.
