Namco Bandai made the announcement today at the Tokyo Game Show. The once Sony exclusive fighting franchise, Tekken, is going multi-platform and coming to the Xbox 360 next fall.

“The Tekken franchise has been renowned for setting the bar for excellence in the fighting genre and this latest iteration is no exception,” said Andrew Lelchuk, executive vice president of sales and marketing at NAMCO BANDAI Games America, Inc.  “Building upon its legacy of delivering lightning-paced brawls and astonishing visuals, TEKKEN 6 will further propel the series to greater heights with new and enhanced gameplay, and its largest character roster ever.”

And yes, the Panda Bear and Kangaroo with the boxing gloves will be back as well. Take a look at the trailer unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show today:
