LAS VEGAS--If there is going to be an Internet age Howard Cosell, my former bossman, it may turn out to be the bright and lively “Embedded Correspondent,” Elie Seckbach.
I recently had the chance to meet and greet the former basketball player from Israel at a Manny Pacquiao workout at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood and I have to say I was impressed by his witty, shoot from the hip manner.

Some people shoot first and ask questions later.
But Seckbach, who also covers the NBA and MMA, does both simultaneously with his video camera.
Seckbach asked me some questions for his AOL Fanhouse video blog and we both agreed that Pacmania seems to be reaching epic proportions.
Seckbach was kind enough to refer to me as "a legend" but he left out the "in his own lunchtime" part.
I think you become "legendary" if you can fog up a mirror at a certain age.
He also did a funny interview alternating between myself and promoter Bob Arum, both of us spinning war stories of long ago.
Mark me down as a fan of the Embedded Correspondent as he brings some creative juices to the fistic scene in an informative but also entertaining manner.
