The only thing better than a good book is a good spoof of a book. Yet, in  pinch, a spoofy book cover can fit the bill quite nicely.

After exhaustive hours trolling the Internet, I've collected here the best of the best spoofalicious book covers. Some are actual covers with altered titles; some feature famous books with covers that give the text a whole new meaning (in some cases improving them substantially); some are wholly the figments of fevered bookish imaginations clearly working overtime. All, however, are hilarious.

A Word to the Wise: Some of these covers feature saucy adult language and highly suggestive wording. Treat them as you would a bottle rocket, a double martini, or a loaded pistol: Enjoy Responsibly, preferably without your 10 year-old looking over your shoulder. You've been warned.

This slideshow features the first 10 of the top 20 funniest spoof book covers. To see -- and laugh at -- #11 - #20, cast your eye here.

User Warning: Resist the temptation -- don't look at these while you're at work. It's tough to convince the boss you're working tirelessly on the report/Power Point presentation/insert mindless task here, when you're laughing helplessly.
