Carrie-Anne Moss is a Screen Actors Guild Award-nominated Canadian actress known for her roles in The Matrix trilogy (as Trinity), Memento, and Chocolat.

At the age of 11, Moss joined the Vancouver children's musical theatre and later went on to tour Europe with the Magee Secondary School Choir in her senior year. She enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena upon her return. In 1985, she left Vancouver for Toronto and became a model. This career took her to Japan and Spain in the late 1980s.

While in Spain, she landed a role in the drama series Dark Justice which was her first television appearance. She moved from Barcelona to Los Angeles, California with the series in 1992.

Moss starred in FOX's short-lived primetime soap opera Models Inc., a spin-off of Melrose Place, as one of the models. But her big breakthrough came when she was chosen to play the latex-clad hacker Trinity in the 1999 box office success The Matrix.

The role of Trinity was "owned" by Carrie-Anne in two more sequels as well as providing voice-overs for video game and animated spin-offs of the film. Coincidentally, she had previously co-starred in an unrelated made-in-Canada television series also entitled Matrix.

Following the release of the The Matrix, Moss starred in the comedy The Crew (2000).  That same year she starred with Val Kilmer in Red Planet, soon to follow she also starred in Miramax's Oscar-nominated film Chocolat.  Memento followed for which Moss earned an Independent Spirit Award for her performance.  Moss starred in many films between then and now, with one to remember and compared to Hitchcock's Rear Window, was Disturbia.

For 2009 Carrie-Anne Moss has starred in Love Hurts and Unthinkable.

Not unlike other celebrities or celebrity characters who have their fair share of lookalikes, professional lookalikes or tribute artists that is, Carrie-Anne has her own too.  Why even her Matrix character Trinity has her own lookalikes.  There are even award ceremonies and conventions of such lookalikes/tribute artists.  Celebrity doubles increase in demand world wide. ~ MATRIX lookalike
