It’s no surprise that with the economy in disrepair, the retail industry is one of the hardest hit. Who can afford to buy pretty new things when their job may be nonexistent next week? Brooklyn vintage boutique Collecther comes to our rescue with a new special “Recessionista Sundays” starting this week.

According to the New York Times blog The Local, the weekly deal means that every Sunday, all dresses in the store will be $25. If dresses aren’t your thing, other items will also be marked down with prices hovering around $20. And if that still isn’t enough of a reason to get you in the door, owner Shana Jackson will also sauce you up with a mimosa on the house. Free booze and cheap vintage? Collecther sure knows how to lure me out to Brooklyn!

For more info: Collecther is located at 306 Franklin Ave. in Bed Stuy.
Store Hours: Thursday-Saturday: 12-8 p.m., Sunday 12-6 p.m.
