The Arkansas Tea Parties for Central Arkansas went well today. Several organizations participated in the events. The meeting at the State Capitol had over 2,000 people attending and had most media outlets covering it. KeepArkansasLegal members attended and handed out information about illegal immigration. We also had an anti-amnesty banner. Attached to this is a slideshow from both Tea Parties. Here are some news links below along with a description of how they covered the event:
http://arkansasmatters.com/content/fulltext/?cid=211612 KARK 4-Kept partisanship as the main subject by claiming most of the people were Republican and of course the loaded Obama question. Also gave coverage to the half-dozen pro-taxes protest at the Little Rock mail office. We do need to remember Snyder's comments that he supports the Obama spending plan for 2010.

On the same link, there's 3 photos of the Tea Party at the Capitol. Don't know why fox16 won't update the story or include video.

While conservatives peacefully demanded an end to the wasting of trillions of tax dollars, leftist would not allow former Congressman Tom Tancredo to speak about illegal immigration. Here's the email I got about that:
